DID YOU KNOW?
Around 2038, it is likely that phone numbers in North America will include 1 or 2 extra digits to support communications service expansion. - NANPA

Got your number...whatever you are tracking, CostGuard makes it as easy as 1, 2, 3.

Managing inventory is one of the little appreciated responsibilities of the service
provider. Tracking equipment, reporting to the North American Numbering Plan
Administration, porting and retail sales inventory make this function critical to any
number of day-to-day operations.
With CostGuard, Numbering Resource Utilization/Forecast (NRUF) data is tracked and made
available for export so service providers can easily comply with reporting requirements.
CostGuard also provides for enhanced functionality in managing numbers, including
categorizing and groups and aging for reuse. For ease of assignment and
ease of administration, CostGuard has it figured out for inventory control.

CostGuard also provides inventory capabilities beyond service numbers, allowing wireline
providers to track equipment located between customer service addresses and the switch in
the central office (cable/pairs, pedestals, poles, ties, etc.). The solution also monitors
equipment availability and assignments and provides support for critical E911
requirements. Trouble tickets and follow ups can be associated to specific pieces of
equipment, giving better information to customer service representatives – and
customers – when an outage is reported.
