Exchanging knowledge, enhancing performance
How We Give Back Info Directions makes a difference by getting involved in community programs to address key needs and opportunities. We strengthen our community by coordinating company-wide efforts to reach out and give back. Info Directions actively supports: We are proud to be among the 10,000 participants at this event each year. Our annual scholarship goes to a Victor Central School graduate whose college major is engineering. As a way to support our community, Info Directions encourages its employees to use paid volunteer time for causes such as this. Invited to take part in the judging at the 1st annual festival, we enjoy a relationship with RIT as an employer of choice for the school's co-ops, grads and alumni. We send two crews of volunteers to the ARC's annual Holiday Gift Wrap Booth at Eastview Mall to benefit recreational programs for their clients. As an annual corporate sponsor, we also send volunteers for the many fundraising events for this Comfort Care Home for the terminally ill. In addition to participation in the United Way Day of Caring, our employees' generous contributions have helped exceed our yearly donation goals.
