Industry associations can be one of the most valuable partnerships that an organization can cultivate.  The individual members of the association and those members who serve in leadership roles are responsible for representing the industry in initiatives as wide ranging as regulatory and compliance, legal advocacy, financial management, training and education, and so much more.  These leadership positions call for a diversity of skills and the ability to maintain perspective.  It's hard work, much of which goes on behind the scenes and with little public acknowledgement.  As the Rural Cellular Association (RCA) elects new board members at its annual convention this week, we wish everyone the best of luck in taking on the challenge of continuing the mission of this important association.  You have our support for your efforts and our sincere thanks for your contributions.

The rain didn't stop our employees from tackling the 19th Annual Chase Corporate Challenge event the other night. More than 9,000 competitors from 414 participating companies showed up at RIT for the event. Shivering in ponchos and wind breakers, family and friends rallied to get everyone across the finish line. We are still recuperating from all the activity in the past month as tradeshow season heats up for us at Info Directions. We had a busy week exhibiting at the CTIA Wireless conference in Las Vegas where many Wireless players showcased their latest technologies, devices, applications and services. The wireless industry is obviously alive and well with lots of exciting opportunities.[Read More]
